Sid Meier's Railroads' new mobile port reveals its release date, and it's not too far off

Feral Interactive has announced that they are set to launch their recently revealed mobile port of the PC classic Sid Meier’s Railroads come April 5th. This legendary tycoon staple was released back in the heyday of classic PC games along the likes of Zoo Tycoon and Rollercoaster Tycoon, and has a bit of both of those within its DNA.

Conceptually, however, Railroads is quite different in the fact that instead of a theme park or a massive zoo, you’ll be expanding and building a giant interconnected railroad system, all while taking care of both cargo shipments and passenger trains too. Add in the fact that you’ll have to keep up routine maintenance costs and upgrades of your locomotives, and there’s a lot to juggle.

If you’ve played a tycoon game before, this is likely nothing new. Your job is to keep the company above water without losing or spending all of your funds as you take care of each facet of the railroad business. This includes customer demand and creating paths from one high-traffic location to the next, and you can’t forget to manage your own lines so they don’t mix up one another too. There’s a lot going on, but it’s not as complicated as it all sounds.

That’s mainly thanks to the revamped UI and enhanced graphics too! With this being a remaster of sorts, the dated style of the game has been updated somewhat to bring it up to modern standards a bit more, allowing for a smoother experience overall that will be less cumbersome than its old counterpart.

Altogether, Sid Meier’s Railroads is regarded as a classic for a reason, so this is one that management game and tycoon fans won’t wanna miss. Don’t take my word for it! Check it out at either of the links below!
