Light Games has announced that Last Crown Warriors, the studio's tactical RPG on Game Boy and Game Boy Color, has now launched its Kickstarter campaign. The game takes inspiration from the Zelda and Mana series, featuring 8-bit visuals and real-time strategic combat.

In Last Crown Warriors, players can look forward to putting their skills to the test as they try to take down enemy waves while conquering bases across engaging levels. Players have to defeat their foes to make sure that they conquer their base and take over their flag - of course, they'll also have to find the strength to face the guardian of each stage to be victorious.

The game also features varied heroes with different abilities to tinker around with. For instance, Lilian can lure foes with a special flower, while Tarran can paralyse enemies with a boomerang. The Kickstarter campaign's goals include more elements such as a tavern, extended scenarios and characters with their own backstories as well.
