In case you missed it, Destructive Creations has announced that War Mongrels, the studio's isometric real-time tactics game, is out now on iOS. This launch coincides with the release on consoles following its original PC launch.
In War Mongrels, players can look forward to experiencing a historically accurate portrayal of the Eastern Front across World War II as verified by history consultants Michal Flont, Jack Cuccurullo, and more. While this part of the war is lesser known to the general public, the game offers an authentic and gritty look at the realities of war within the real-time tactics genre.
The game features unique personalities, backgrounds and skills for every character, and players will be able to interact with their environments to progress through the levels. For instance, whistling and throwing items can distract guards, while soldiers can be caught by surprise with ambushes from the shadows. Players can also team up with their online buddies in the online co-op mode on PC and on consoles.
