World Dai Star: Yume no Stellarium, the Japanese-exclusive upcoming rhythm game, has revealed its second trailer ahead of the planned release later this year

Bandai Namco’s upcoming gacha mobile rhythm game World Dai Star: Yume no Stellarium has revealed a brand new trailer that gives a deeper look into some of the characters that the game’s story will revolve around. This trailer comes ahead of the news that the game has also opened up pre-orders and the announcement that players will be receiving a lot of in-game rewards when the game does finally launch too!

World Dai Star is a game akin to something like Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage, taking players through a story that focuses on four separate groups, all vying to achieve the title of the “World Dancer”. The game is set before the 21st century, where most of the stage talent featured in the game are looking to become someone who causes a massive ripple in the world with their talent and revolutionises the industry as a whole.

This allows for a lot of interesting character interaction, as you’ll have to watch all of these groups try their absolute hardest at achieving this extremely difficult goal, leading to a lot of self-doubts within the characters and also quite a bit of competition between each too. This makes the story a lot more intense than you’d expect from a cutesy rhythm game title, though there is still a ton of that too.

The story will be told partially through visual novel segments much like other mobile rhythm games, but will also feature fully realised 3D CGI scenes too, so be ready for both! The art style is anime-inspired, but does venture into some pretty colourful places too, making for a really cool and unique look for all the characters.

If that sounds up your alley, you can pre-register for free at either of the links below and get ready for the game’s release date planned for the Summer of this year for Japanese gamers exclusively.
