Genshin Impact's Across the Wilderness event goes live tomorrow
Genshin Impact’s version 3.3 – All Senses Clear, All Existence Void is in its final stage as there are about two weeks before the next update drops. Phase two of this version has already kicked off and Hoyoverse is just about to launch the first event of the year.
Beginning tomorrow, January 3rd is the Across the Wilderness event that will be available for travellers until the 13th. It has been organized by the Adventurers’ Guild. Players will be given the task of gathering as many Wilderness Balloons as possible within the given time limit.
Players that are above Adventure Rank 20 and have completed the Archon Quest – Prologue Act III – Song of the Dragon and Freedom will be able to participate. Rewards for completing the challenge include Primogems, Character Talent Materials, and Hero’s Wit amongst other things.
The instructions for the event are pretty simple. Collect the highest possible number of Harvest Balloons in the shortest time possible, while traversing through the rooftops of Mondstadt. There are specific routes to complete, five of them to be exact and a new one will launch every day once Across the Wilderness kicks off.
To make things a little simpler, travellers can also equip the Wilderness Compass, which will show the way ahead. There should be at least 40 odd balloons to find in each course. Before starting the challenge, players also have the option of equipping blessings for advantages. For example, Leapbless will increase the character’s jump height.
In addition to this, travellers will also find a special kind of balloon called the Sonar Balloon, which will cause numerous Harvest Balloons to show up. These must be collected quickly or they will disappear. And if you wish to make this mode even easier, co-op mode can be enabled to tackle the challenge together.
