It's hard for me to stop playing Vampire Survivors, and that's a problem. The only solace I can take from playing it so much is that it's an arcade-style game that isn't taking money from me… DLC doesn't count. There's still so much that I can do in that game, and it's one thing to unlock all the characters in Vampire Survivors but it's a whole other task collecting enough gold to pay for them. That being said, maybe I need a break from this game. There are new ones coming out literally every day so I'm going to try one of those. I mean, as long as it's like Vampire Survivors… 60 percent at least.

The genre it has created is up for debate. Is it a type of bullet hell? Perhaps a wave-like? Until we can all agree, I'll stick with Survivors-like for now. Despite the simplicity of its design and appearance, Vampire Survivors has only recently made its way to mobile. However, that doesn't mean there aren't a slew of titles like it already available. Among them, there are several that really stand out to me for a variety of reasons. The main factor is they're fun and I'll likely have trouble not playing them as well.

Survivor.io

Find out more about

Survivor.io The way the title looks makes the game sound very technical but it could not be simpler. You are a cute, square-body survivor with the goal of continuing to do so. However, this won't be easy since every type of monster is looking to take you down and they're coming from all sides. Don't worry, because you've got some weapons and armour to start you off and your skill is going to take you to victory. When you get there, you can pour your winnings into enhancing your skills, evolving your being, and filling every one of your slots so you can crush each and every boss that crosses your path.

You'll probably need some help to pick the best gear in Survivor.io, as well as the best skills in Survivor.io, as both can be tricky. As always, we got you covered.

Lonely Survivor

Find out more about

Lonely Survivor No one likes feeling lonely, but for a survivor that's their bread and butter. Still, that doesn't mean they can't have some flair at the same time. With this entry, you play as an energetic and tough witch with a big hat and a tail. This may cause some distraction, but it won't work on the hordes of creatures heading toward her. Luckily, she's got a big staff that she can swing with enough force to smack several enemies. That's not all, though. As a witch, she gets access to a ton of powerful spells. Each is made to cut through waves of foes or blow them sky-high. Each battle won is experience earned to make your magic bigger and more devastating.

3
Dash.io

Dash.io There was a time when the dash mechanic in games was almost as popular and expected as the double jump. Who would've thought there would be entire adventures based around it? Well, now you've got this one with some Survivors and roguelike gameplay thrown in. As you run down a long path as your chosen hero, you're blocked on both sides and it's too late to turn back. The way forward is open, you just need to plow through the enemies that are occupying it. Each hero has its own kind of attacks and powers, but the key is combos. You'll want to set up your strikes to bounce between enemies for max damage and, more importantly, satisfaction.

Path of Immortals: Survivor

Path of Immortals: Survivor The prospect of being immortal can be terrifying when you think about it… but that might be because we wouldn’t know what to do with immortality. Clearly, the characters in Path of Immortal: Survivor know exactly what they'd do since they're on a path that immortals have taken. Big surprise, it's full of monsters taking advantage of your current mortality. Little do they know that each of these survivors is trained in a deadly art related to one of several classic fantasy occupations. Use nature magic as the Druid, snipe and pierce with the Ranger, destroy enemies and earth with the Berserker, and use every reward you earn to stay on the path and get even stronger.

Age of Frostfall

Find out more about

Age of Frostfall We don't talk much about the Ice Age mainly because it was so long ago and it's pretty self-explanatory: It was a cold age defined by a ton of ice. Even so, people will make adventures and stories about those trying to live or survive in such frigid conditions. This one makes it so that you have a small society of people who have managed to etch out a kingdom in a frozen realm but still aren't safe. This is because a bunch of cool creatures, including those who idolise the White Walkers, are attempting to storm the gates and destroy everything they've built. To fight the continuous onslaught, you will need to manage your structures and resources so that you can feed your troops to help them, and those they fight for, survive.

6
Project Clean Earth

Find out more about

Project Clean Earth Earth is not in the best shape and could use a worldwide concentrated effort to help clean it up. Thinking about it, this might have to be done from orbit which is what this title is implying. After the earth is ravaged by radiation, humans have sought safety elsewhere but are united to create a weapon. This weapon, a robot named Bernard, is the only thing capable of surviving on earth's surface alongside the millions of mutants that now roam about. Its mission is to reclaim the planet by cleansing all the mutants from the surface using its arsenal of futuristic weapons. As you control Bernard, you can pick up additional weapons, upgrades, and chips to make it an even meaner fighting machine.

Monster Survivor.io

Monster Survivor.io What's better than one survivor? A whole party of survivors (possibly)! Games have been giving players control over large parties of characters for years and it now exists in the Survivors-like genre. This game gives you control of a number of heroes you can summon to the field to fight for your glory. They'll travel as a group with each using their specific skills to give you the most coverage. It'll come in handy when facing multiple waves of different enemy varieties or bosses with particular weaknesses. You will travel across the fantasy lands to slay, level up, and save the day if only temporarily.
