Genshin Impact reveals version 3.7: Duel! The Summoner's Summit with brand new TCG elements
HoYoverse has made some big announcements as we’re moving closer to the release of Genshin Impact’s version 3.7, which has been titled Duel! The Summoners’ Summit. Its predecessor hosted the Akademiya Extravaganza event, but this one focuses on the Genius Invokation TCG, with the King of Invokations Prix, 60 new cards, as well as another playable character.
In v3.7 of Genshin Impact, players will be able to participate in the King of Invokation Grand Prix, an international TCG tournament featuring contenders from all over Teyvat. None of these events is complete without mysterious occurrences and it happening on such a big stage has attracted a famous reporter from Fontaine.
Charlotte, author of The Steambird is here to investigate and characters from different nations are chipping in to help her. Meanwhile, the Adventurers’ Guild is trying its best to keep players occupied with numerous TCG events which are open to everyone regardless of their level. A plethora of minigames has been curated for all travellers.
This update is a gigantic step forward for TCG gameplay as 60 brand new cards join the fray alongside a PvP and PvE mode. The new set includes Character Cards of all four Archons and many more characters, monsters, weapons, and artifacts.
The Arena of Champions is a new PvP mode where progression requires five wins and losing thrice puts players back to the beginning. On the other hand, The Forge Realm’s Temper is the new PvE mode where difficulty and match conditions can be customized for extra points.
Finally, Genshin Impact’s newest playable character will be the four-star Dendro user, Kirara. To the outside world, she’s an ordinary courier, but her foes know Kirara as a powerful sword user who has mastered transformation. She is a nekomata from Inazuma and will be available during the first half of the update.
