Ensemble Stars!! Music teams up with Anipop Puyo, one of the biggest match-3 puzzlers out there, to bring new themed items to the game

The mobile anime rhythm game Ensemble Stars!! Music has teamed up with popular match-3 game Anipop to bring new limited-time content and rewards to players. The big highlight of this team-up is, of course, all the new cards players will be able to collect, with art that features characters from Ensemble Stars in cute poses with members of the Anipop team!

In case you aren’t familiar, Ensemble Stars!! is a decently successful mobile gacha rhythm game with a focus on narrative. It follows an anime boy band as they adventure through the world of music-making, with you being able to participate in all of their stories as well as play rhythm-game stages in between those story sections.

As for Anipop, while it’s not a super recognisable name in the West, it is easily the biggest match-3 game in China specifically. Touting over 8 million downloads there, this cutesy puzzler is a simple but adorable romp through some classic match-3 action.

And now, with this event, the two will meet! The most important part of this crossover is surely the new scout, which brings with it 4 new Cards for players to collect within Ensemble Stars. These are the 5-star [Breathtaking Adventure] Subaru Akehosi, the 4-star [Fascinating Adventure] Shinobu Sengoku, the 3-star [Fun-Filled Adventure] Rinne Amagi, and the 3-star [Aquatic Adventure] Kanata Shinkai.

Of course, this event also comes with a bunch of new themed furniture to collect as well, ranging from new plushies to new walls, all themed after the joys of camping in the outdoors, which is sort of the general theme of the crossover as a whole. Throw in the usual optional purchase items in the store like new premium packs, top-ups, and more, and that about wraps up this new event!
