Which phones support 120fps in Wild Rift?

Want to know which phones support 120fps in Wild Rift? Then you have come to the right place. Last year in March, Riot published Wild Rift’s 2.2 Patch Notes. In them, it stated testing for 120Hz support for select high-end devices had begun. Not much changed since then.

We will share a list of all the phones that support Wild Rift in 120fps, and going to share how to turn on the option to use the max fps your phone can support.

But before jumping into the details, check out our League of Legends: Wild Rift tier list to know what champions you should choose before jumping into the battlefield to get the best results while playing at a high frame rate.

Which phones support 120fps in phones?

The developers shared a list of devices that support 120fps in Wild Rift. But unfortunately, they shared the list in early 2021, so it's a bit outdated. The list confirms the following phones support 120hz in Wild Rift:

  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Range
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 Range
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 20
  • Samsung Tab S7 Range
  • OPPO Find X2
  • OnePlus 9
  • OnePlus 9 Pro
  • OnePlus 8
  • OnePlus 8 Pro
  • iPad Pro Range
  • Google Pixel 5
  • ASUS ROG Phone 2
  • Razer Phone 2

The developers have officially confirmed all the phones mentioned above support 120fps for Wild Rift. Riot shared this list a long time ago. But based on this, it's safe to assume any models released after and with a 120hz display should support 120fps in Wild Rift. For example, models like the One Plus 10R, One Plus 10, One Plus 10 Pro, One Plus 10T, Google Pixel 6, Google Pixel 7, and so on. I am using One Plus 10R and can confirm that Wild Rift supports 120hz on my device.

There is also a Reddit post on the official Wild Rift Reddit community where someone has asked the same question, Which phones support 120fps on Wild Rift? Many players confirmed devices such as the iPhone 13 Pro and GT Neo 2 support 120hz for Wild Rift, while others complained that, even though their smartphone supports 120hz, the option to play Wild Rift at the frame rate is still locked for them.

How to play Wild Rift at higher FPS?

Wild Rift officially supports 30, 40, 60, 90 and 120fps. However, while 40fps is the default setting, players can switch to 90 and 120fps. However, higher fps is locked and is available only for high-end smartphones.

Once you have checked and confirmed your phone offers a 90 or 120hz refresh rate and want to enjoy playing Wild Rift at a higher FPS, then follow these steps:

  • Launch Wild Rift (make sure the app is updated)
  • Go to the settings
  • Click on the graphics setting
  • In the frame rate option, select 90 or 120fps
  • Close the settings and enjoy playing

If you can't see the option to switch to 90 or 120 fps, or if you can see but can't select it, it means Wild Rift does not support higher frame rates on your device.

Don't be disappointed if you can't run Wild Rift at maximum fps. 60fps is good enough, and in the end, skills beat everything. So do check out our Irelia Guide or Lucian Guide and be the best champion on the battlefield.
