Torchlight: Infinite is now in open beta
XD Inc has spent all of this year conducting closed beta tests for its fast-paced, dungeon crawler Torchlight: Infinite. A lot of players have participated in these tests, but it was still limited to who has chosen. Now, as we near an official launch, it's time to open the beta to everyone.
You heard that right. We’re moving from the closed betas to the open beta beginning today, October 12th, allowing all eager fans to hop in and test out the game. Both mobile and PC users can take part in the open beta, which will be available all the way up to Infinite’s launch. The best part is that all progress will be carried over without deleting anything.
While the open beta launch trailer gives players a good look at the high-octane action that awaits them, the developers also released another trailer called Beyond Destiny, which focuses on the forgotten City of Ichi.
Ichi is a daunting dungeon that houses heaps of treasures within it. And as you know, no treasure is ever left unprotected. Just like that, Ichi’s riches are guarded by a plethora of traps and adversaries. Teamwork is the only way of ensuring survival. A lot of enemies are going to have to be defeated in order to get to the treasure.
