The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth launches playtest in the Philippines

Electronic Arts has officially soft-launched The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth in the Philippines, letting players from the region participate in a playtest for the mobile strategy RPG. Players can expect to experience the popular fantasy franchise in this new title developed by Capital Games, which includes classic characters across different factions.

In The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth, players can look forward to immersing themselves in the Tolkien universe when a new Ring is discovered. The turn-based combat will feature iconic characters as players go through new narratives in the game. The new Ring will pose a great conundrum for players as they ultimately decide how they would like to wield their newfound power - will it be for good or for evil?

The game will also feature never-before-seen factions of Middle-earth. Players can put their skills and their own fellowship to the test in the game's PvP, Story and PvE modes, as well as strategise team-up attacks to achieve synergy bonuses. They can also join guilds and go head-to-head with other fellowships to see who will reign supreme.
